Are Your Old Habits Your Old Friends As Well?

Every negative behavior serves some positive benefit for you. The trick is to figure out what benefit you’re getting from the negative behavior; then substitute a more productive behavior that delivers the same benefit.

Don’t cold-turkey that old negative habit. Instead, replace it with a new habit that will serve the same benefits — without the negative side effects.

Combine flexibility with planning for a better balance in your life. Flexibility stems from openness and spontaneity; plans stem from awareness and forethought.

Planning and flexibility need a symbiotic relationship in every plan.

Today’s Questions to ponder:

A Life of Abundance

Posted in action, attitude, dream coach, goals, life coach, personal development, success tagged , at 12:53 pm by Sandra Hersey

“I have missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I have lost almost 300 games. On 26 occasions I have been entrusted to take the game winning shot… and I missed. I have failed over and over and over again in my life. And that’s precisely why I succeed.”

~ Michael Jordan

All last week we focused on the Process of Success.

You CAN live a life of abundance. You CAN live your dreams.

Create crystal-clear EXPECTATIONS for what you want to see happen… then EXECUTE beyond expectation.

You will soar like an eagle on the eternal winds of change.

Success Without Happiness Is the Worst Kind of Failure

Posted in Ambition, Belief, Inspiration, Inspire, Perseverance, Possibilities, accountability, action, affirmations, attitude, blogging, can, challanges, change, circumstances, determination, dream, dream coach, failure, goals, happines, life coach, life coach for women, passion, personal development, perspective, strength, success, thoughts, trials at 1:46 pm by Sandra Hersey

“The achievement of something desired, planned, or attempted; attaining the results expected.”

Thus, becoming the success you desire is a simple two-step process:

1.        Create a clear EXPECTATION for what you want to achieve…

2.        Then EXECUTE well beyond expectation.

When you do, you will ACHIEVE what was planned or attempted. You will succeed.

Don’t, and you won’t.

Over time, you will be given millions of opportunities to succeed or fail. You will in fact fail to live up to your Expectations many many times over your lifetime. You will also win many of these encounters.

In the end, string a successive series of successes together, you will become wildly successful: Your successes outweigh your failures.

However, string a successive series of failures together, and in the end, you will suffer the heartbreak of remorse, recriminations and regrets.

No question, it is your ratio of Expectations to Execution that determines if you will actually become the success you desire.

This ratio is what we call your Excellence Factor: X (factor).

It is of vital importance to your future that you understand this concept.

If you seem to be struggling with half-successes, or are running yourself in circles… trying and trying… but never achieving… this is WHY.

Your POWER to Execute doesn’t match up to the size of your dreams, goals and plans.

Until you change this RATIO, you will never create the success you deserve. It will always be looming just out of REACH.

There are 4 combinations that drive your X (factor):

1-High Expectations/High Execution…

2-High Expectations/Low Execution…

3-Low Expectations/High Execution…

4-Low Expectations/Low Execution…

Think about the relationship between what you have given yourself the right to Expect vs. your ability to Execute. If you have High Expectations, but a Low capacity for Execution, no way will you ever attain the results Expected.

You will try. You will fail.

Why?

You simply do not have the POWER to meet or exceed your Expectation.

Put another way, your REACH exceeds your GRASP.

You have just 2 choices:

1-DECREASE your Expectations… or…

2-INCREASE your Power to Execute.

At every point in time—every single day of your life—you have this choice. You can either reduce your Expectations or increase your personal power.

Success is ALWAYS within reach if you simply extend your grasp.

Your ratio of Expectations over Execution controls everything you will ever be, do or have in life.

It is that important.

If you want to achieve success beyond expectations, the key lies in the BALANCE between what you have given yourself the right to EXPECT… with respect to your ability to EXECUTE.

The Bottom Line…

Improve your success potential now. Simply…

Expect More.

Execute Better.

You CAN do better. You CAN achieve more. You CAN attain your highest goals.

How?

Create HIGH Expectations for yourself.

Then perform such that you meet or EXCEED your Expectations.

Believe it. You CAN succeed at whatever you do, as long as you simply take the right ACTIONS.

Working Hard or Getting Things Accomplished?

The minutes in your day are productive only when you’re moving in a forward motion covering new ground and not lost backtracking, or starting over every time a new process begins.

When you’re organized you know in advance where you’re going and how you’ll get there.

Article in Women’s Day Magazine

Posted in Possibilities, Teacher, The risen life, Zurvita, direct sales, economy, girls, moms, mother, start up company, students, weekly income, wife, woman, womens day magazine, work from home at 2:25 pm by Sandra Hersey

Interestingly I found this article in Women’s Day Magazine and thought I would share it with you because so many of you are working from home or desire some extra money to help in this economy!

“The 15 million-plus direct sales reps in the country are selling everything from organic gardening goodies to gourmet food items to natural pet care products, according to the Direct Sales Association. Most of them are women putting in less than 10 hours a week and earning around $2,500 a year. But others are turning the opportunity into a full-time business: Almost 20 percent of direct sellers are banking more than $20,000 a year. It’s possible to reach whatever financial goal you’ve set for yourself if you can put in the time and effort—whether you want to earn extra cash to cover your monthly car payment or save up for your dream vacation.

Ask yourself these three questions:

1.  Does the startup cost seem unreasonably high? Most companies require you to buy a kit with catalogs, order forms and product samples to show potential customers. But if a startup kit costs, say, $500, and you can’t earn more than that amount back from selling those goods, beware.

2.  Does the company offer a buy-back policy? You should have the opportunity to return any inventory from the last 12 months if it didn’t sell. It’ll help protect you from financial loss if you decide direct selling isn’t for you.

3.  Can customers really use the products the company wants to sell and is the company giving you a quantity that is realistic for you to unload? It’s a sham if they’re giving you so much product that you can’t possibly get rid of it all.”

Now the above is taken from the article, not my words. I too am a mom working from home and would love to share what I do with you as well. I can tell you that I can answer Women’s Day Magazines questions above:

  1. With the start up in the company I am with you can make your start up cost back in 24 hours to 28 days that depends on you. I did mine in 2 weeks working VERY part time (about 5 hours a week)!
  2. There is no buy back policy from the company I am with because you do not stock product at all.
  3. Yes, they are already shopping at Walmart, Target, going to the movie theater in their hometown, ordering pizza from home at Dominos and Papa Johns, and so many other stores too, so they will want to pay less from something they do every day!

You are not selling a product you are helping people save money on things they are already doing! Contact me if you are interested!
