Be Clear on Why You Are Here
Have you ever thought about the fact that you are here on earth for a much larger purpose than what you are doing now?
Have you ever really discovered or even questioned what your unique purpose is? Or thought about what counselors and coaches call your “right livelihood”?
Jack Canfield gives a great exercise in his book “The Success Principles; How to Get From Where You Are To Where You Want To Be” on just how you can help yourself determine why you think you are here:
1.) List two of your unique personal qualities such as “enthusiasm” and “creativity.”
2.) List one or two ways you enjoy expressing those qualities when interacting with others, such as “to support” and “to inspire.”
3.) Assume the world is perfect. Describe it as you see it -what are people doing, how are they interacting, what does it feel like?
4.) Combine your three answers above into a single statement such as: “My purpose is to use my creativity and enthusiasm to support and inspire others to freely express their talents in a harmonious and loving way.”
You needn’t make it poetic or flowery. Just use words that are important and inspiring to you in describing what you believe is your unique role in the Universe.
This exercise also is to help us in our preparation for our “One Month to Live; A Life of No Regrets Challenge!” This challenge is for women and is FREE! All you need to do is click here to get more info and spread the word, ALL women are invited! Hurray because we are starting next week September 4th!

The First Day of The Rest of Your Life
“Trust yourself. Create the kind of self that you will be happy to live with all your life. Make the most of yourself by fanning the tiny, inner sparks of possibility into flames of achievement.” ~ Foster C. Mcclellan
Discouraged… Devastated… Despondent… Depressed?
“Want to lead a life of Passion and Purpose… a life of Significance to others… to become the BEST YOU possible in every facet of your life?
Study Today’s Quote carefully.
It offers profound wisdom.
Who are you now?
Who are you becoming?
Be honest.
Do you trust yourself enough to enthusiastically pursue your dreams?
I find it interesting—no, empowering—to ask these questions.
Rarely do we find the time to ask ourselves the big, life-changing question:
What do I want to accomplish while I am here… how will I be remembered for who I’ve been?
Yes, the old cliche is true—this is the first day of the rest of your life.
What do you want to achieve this year… accomplishments that may have eluded you in the past?
My Greatest Dream Is:
Someday I will ____________________________
As you are thinking of the answer to these questions this is a great time to remind you that starting on Thursday, September 4 at 9PM EST right from you phone you can take the “30 Days to Live: A Life of No Regrets” Challenge! Click here for more info!

Becoming a Better Thinker
#1 Interrupt yourself.
The next time you find yourself talking for any period of time, or even thinking about something for more than a few minutes, simply stop. Ask yourself: “Where did this thought start?” “Have I had this thought before?” “Have I already examined this concept at length?”
Imagine all the time we spend on thoughts that just aren’t taking us anywhere new and interesting. How many times have you had the same conversation?
Make a habit of stopping yourself to check in. Steer your thoughts or your conversation in new directions. Make room for new ideas by recognizing and interrupting repetitive thoughts, and you’ll make huge strides toward becoming a more excellent thinker. I challenge you to “pay attention” to your thoughts and especially any negative thoughts. Interrupt the pattern.
#2 Appreciate the Quiet.
Think about the last time you just embraced the quiet. We are usually on the phone in our cars, listening to music and we rarely embrace the quiet.
Learn to appreciate those moments during the day when you have no choice but to be silent and patient. Waiting for your email to download? Standing in line at the checkout? Riding in an elevator? Fill the quiet with observations. Look around. Listen. Be present in the moment. Again, pay attention.
#3 Define Your Life Philosophy.
A defined life philosophy serves as a road map. It gives you landmarks to recognize, navigation tools to guide you, and a clear destination. Just like the greatest road trips, you may end up going in a completely new direction that’s nowhere on that original map. That’s okay. But knowing your starting point is the most crucial part of any journey. Take some time to delve deeply into what you think and feel about life.

Are You Appreciating The Beauty Of This Moment?
When you become too achievement-oriented, you risk forfeiting quality of life to quantity. Take a moment to appreciate the time you have by stepping back frequently to enjoy the beauty here and now.
As you travel along the road of life, pull over frequently to breathe, stretch and enjoy the moment.
Today’s Questions to Ponder:
In what specific ways have you “enjoyed the moment” in today’s hectic schedule? _________________________________
What was your appreciation level (1-10) of the last hour? _________________________________
What needs to happen for you to regain your perspective today? _________________________________

Grateful
Good Morning Ladies!
It is a brand new week and I am excited today. As usual on Mondays we have our Grateful Monday Party here on the blog, and I have so many things to be grateful for today as I am sure that you are!
I believe that a key part of our life is gratitude, the habit of practicing gratefulness, being thankful in all things.
Breaking the word down a bit further gratitude means:
- an appreciative attitude for what one has received
- a warm or deep appreciation of personal kindness
- a disposition to express gratefulness by giving thanks
I like all three of these definitions for different reasons. I think gratitude also relates to a full life spent in awareness of all the good things that surround us.
So today let’s take time again at the beginning of our week to be grateful, even if you are in a hard place right now, think of at least one thing that you are grateful for.
I am grateful today for:
That Tropical Storm Fay left Florida and left minimal damage to my home and business.
My daughter has started school today and is very excited about a new year.
My husband is loving and hard working.
All of my children are blessed and highly favored.
We always have a chance for new beginnings.
I can adjust my day by adjusting my attitude.
Now it is your turn, either comment here or write down what you are grateful for today. And spend today looking for things to be grateful for, and when you find them say it out loud!
Why not spread the word about being grateful today, it can even affect your world and you will be helping someone else be grateful!

Grateful Mondays
Yeah it is Monday again and that means that today is Grateful Monday! And every Monday we have a party here on the blog and express how grateful we are.
Today I am giving you quotes on the Subject of Gratitude and all of them are by author Wallace D. Wattles.
“The whole process of mental adjustment and atonement can be summed up in one word: gratitude.”
“A soul that is always grateful lives in closer touch with God than one who never looks to him in thankful acknowledgment.”
“Gratitude draws the mind into closer touch with the source from which the blessings come.”
“Gratitude alone can keep you looking toward the Infinite and prevent you from falling into the error of thinking that the supply of riches is limited…”
“There is a law of gratitude, and if you are to get the results you seek, it is absolutely necessary that you should observe this law.”
“If your gratitude is strong and constant, the reaction in the formless substance will be strong and continuous. The movement of the things you want will always be toward you.”
“Without gratitude, you cannot keep from being dissatisfied with things as they are.”
“Faith is born of gratitude.”
“A grateful mind continually expects good things, and expectation becomes faith. The reaction of gratitude upon one’s own mind produces faith. Every outgoing wave of grateful thanksgiving increases faith.”
“Cultivate the habit of being grateful for every good thing that comes to you – and give thanks continuously.”
“The person who can sincerely thank God for the things which he owns only in imagination has real faith. That person will get rich; that person will cause the creation of whatsoever he wants.”
Like always we stop and take this time to write down and say aloud what we are grateful for today.
I am grateful for:
No matter what I can always start over
The caves that God has placed me in
My family and the health they have
Friends who are always there
It is your turn either write down what you are grateful where you are right now or list it here. Either way make sure that today you continue to think only on what you are grateful for, for the rest of the day!
And today I want to give you a free Ebook “The Science of Getting Rich” by Wallace Wattles!

Acknowledge Your Positive Past
Acknowledge Your Positive Past, research shows over and over again the more you acknowledge your past successes, the more confident you’ll become in taking on new challenges and successfully accomplishing them.
That’s what successful people do.
Successful people confidently seek out and accept new opportunities for advancement because they have the confidence of a lifetime of much smaller achievements.
Stop now and make a list of the successes you’ve achieved in your life. Or why not take this weekend for some time alone to reflect on you and your successes.
You’ll discover you know more about success than you previously thought. Be sure to keep this list and refer back to it whenever you need to remind yourself about your ability to achieve success at any endeavor.
Have an amazing weekend ladies we will meet back here on Monday for the Grateful Monday Party! You do not want to miss that!
