Do not allow your mind to keep you in the “stuff ” of yesterday

“Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense. ”
~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

It’s a new day today; tomorrow and even last year are gone. You cannot get either one of them back no matter how hard you try. So be done with what was in yesterday! Philippians 3:13 tells us, “Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead.”

Know you have done what you could in your yesterday; if not, then look at setting up a new way of accomplishing your tasks so you can be satisfied with what you have done each day.

Life happens and junk happens but we must learn to move on! Do not stand where you are. Press in to God, push on to where He wants you, and just keep moving toward Him!

Do not stand there in self-pity or in your circumstance – MOVE!

Today and everyday decide to do something to demonstrate you are more committed to your dream. Show your Father you are more committed to Him and His plans for you.

Yesterday may have had stumbling blocks thrown at you, but you can decide “so what I am moving on!” Use what was meant as a stumbling block and turn it into a stepping stone to move you up higher!

Stay committed to you and stay committed to your dream; stand on what you know God has promised you!

Today is a new day with new mercies which your Heavenly Father has given to you and today is a new beginning; if you allow it to be. So use it as such!

Do not allow your mind to keep you in the “stuff “of yesterday. Know you have done what you can and move on to a higher place!
