If you are a follower of the news both locally and nationally you can hear repeatedly how the world is in trouble. It has even bled over into the writings of TV shows! We can no longer even escape from the reality of the world with our favorite TV shows because they too remind us what kind of trouble this world has gotten itself into. I for one have decided I will not continue to watch a TV show who wants to feed me the misery the news media is feeding! I am a child of the Most High King and I WILL NOT live in fear. I WILL trust my heavenly Father who tells me He WILL supply ALL my needs (Phil. 4:19)!
How often has somebody told you not to worry about whatever situation you are in? Then how often have you been able to listen to and heed to such advice? Jesus gave us the instructions on how to deal with EVERY situation we are facing, including the ones the world is in! Over and over Jesus instructed others and us to fear not! Yet over and over his disciples shuddered in fear and I dare say, you and I have found ourselves in that place as well.
I believe God has something better for you and I as His children. We are to have a life beyond worry, doubt, lack, and even fear. By the power of God’s Word and the power of God’s love for us, we CAN walk in victory in ALL areas of our lives!
God wants us to have life and have it more abundantly! He wants you and I to live in the area of more than enough. And His desire is to bring to LIFE those who are held by Satan in fear, lack, doubt, and even death! When we are in lack we have death so to speak in our area of need. When we are in fear we have death in our midst; death of whatever the enemy is trying to rob from us! Satan’s ONE mission is to steal from you, kill you, and destroy you AND all you have and hold dear! PERIOD!! But what we must realize and get a hold of; our God is not effected by economic numbers or a medical report or any other circumstance we are facing!
The enemy is waging war against this world AND believers with a spirit; that spirit is one of fear, doubt, and unbelief. He has cunningly stepped in using the media and other things of this world to have us gripped with worry and fear. Asking questions of “how” and “why.” And in response we see people afraid of what may happen. It grieves me as I know it must grieve our Heavenly Father when He sees even His own children in fear and doubt. God did not give us a spirit of fear. He has always wanted us to have more and do more, why? Because we are His mouth piece, His hands, His feet! WE are the ones who are to bring the Gospel to this world, WE are the ones who are to break off the bondages on others. WE are the ones who are to be walking in victory. But as I look around I see what the enemy has done to even the children of God. But you and I are to rise up and STAND in faith on what the Word of God says. The Word of God is truth! It does not lie! It is for TODAY and it is OUR responsibility to stand up and say NO! We will not live like this, we will NOT live in fear, sickness, lack, worry, or unbelief!!! We are MORE than conquerors so we must start taking our authority in this world and live like the Bible has said we can! We are in a battle and we must fight, but our weapon we are to fight with IS the Word of God!
Whatever you are facing today, the answer has ALREADY be given to you, YOU must find it in the Word of God, and STAND on it! How long must I stand you ask – as long as you have to! Read the Word and you will see that so many people had to stand, they had to wait for God to move, and as they waited God ALWAYS moved, they ALWAYS got the victory! And you and I can too, it is up to us, are we willing to trust God or trust in this world? Are we willing to say My God supplies my needs, not this world. Are we willing to stand and declare WITH God ALL things are possible to those who believe! Do you believe, do you believe and trust your Father in Heaven. He loves you and He wants you victorious! Believe, trust, and stand on the Word of God!
